Their Story.

Wedding Size: Medium – A full-day celebration blending Hindu and Jewish traditions.

Emily & Yash's wedding was a full-day marathon of love, culture, and celebration at the One King West Hotel in Toronto. With both a Hindu Ceremony and a Jewish ceremony followed by a lively reception, it was a day packed with a lot of excitement, tradition, and fun. As the hotel’s event spaces span multiple floors, our team made sure guests moved smoothly from one part of the celebration to the next.

While everyone got ready, the JT Wedding Events team began setting up the Austin Gallery for the Hindu Ceremony, which included reserved signs, welcome signage, and ceremony programs on each seat. Emily and Yash provided framed wedding photos of their grandparents and parents, which our team hung along the walls of the ceremony space with command strips. The frames perfectly blended with the character of the venue, and it looked like they were meant to be there. This created a personal connection between the generations that guests loved!

The day officially kicked off with a unique and lively Baraat on King Street, followed by a few welcome traditions and their Hindu Ceremony.

In just a few hours following lunch, the Austin Gallery was transformed for the Jewish Ceremony. The mandap was replaced with a chuppah, chairs rearranged, and kippah signage and baskets added. After this beautiful ceremony, guests made their way downstairs to the Grand Banking Hall for the reception. The reception began with family entrances and a high-energy Horah that had everyone on their feet. Speeches, cake cutting, special dances, and a group performance kept the energy high until the dance floor opened.
